I am a Plebeian. I don't have any political influences and I can't say I have engaged in a lot of political experiences. I hope by the end of this class my political knowledge will enhance immensely and looking forward to starting to educate myself in knowing more of how our government works. I scored a decent grade on my Civic Literacy and Current Events quiz, in other words not as bad as I thought I would do but it is still very unacceptable score.

Science Matters!
On April 17, 2017, New York Times published Scientists and “Activist Look Beyond the March for Science.” Thousands of people came together on Earth Day to show their support on all of what science has to offer and defending the right for all scientist to continue their research and put a stop on the budget cuts the presidential administration was trying to do. By the president's administration seeking to do a budget cut and suppressing science can have a significant fall back on how advanced the country is in all research, compared to other countries where they invest in it. The protest shows how much the country has evolved, we can separate the faith we have, and science can still have our beliefs but respect the scientific world we live in today. For example, all the nonscientist that marched in behalf of science just to show their support even though they are pro-religion but anti-science. Science has been a huge part of our life’s, giving us an understanding of things that we do not understand or why cycles are the way they are as per climate and medicine. Our modern world is run by science that without, we wouldn’t be where we are today in health, environment, and other natural hazards.
